Previously, when participating in the USD1-for-WLFI airdrop event on @binance, there was a frustrating issue: the depth and liquidity of the USD1 pair were very poor. Users holding USD1 often had to manually convert it to USDT first before trading BTC or ETH. This is a common awkward situation faced by new or low-market-cap stablecoin trading pairs. That extra step obviously means paying an additional transaction fee and enduring another round of slippage. For assets like USD1, which are tied to random snapshot-based airdrop rewards, this extra conversion step could even lead to a loss of airdrop benefits. The newly launched AOR (Auto Order Routing) feature on Binance is designed to optimize this pain point. It’s particularly suitable for trading pairs involving new stablecoins like USD1 or local fiat currencies like BRL, improving the overall trading experience. When users place orders on trading pairs marked with AOR, such as the BTC/USD1 pair, the system automatically compares two paths for the portion of the order that can be immediately executed: “direct execution in the USD1 pair” versus “routing through BTC/USDT.” It then selects the path with the better quote for execution. Plus, the intermediate conversion only incurs one standard transaction fee, with no additional charges. What does this mean? It essentially provides a low-cost, efficient matching solution for trading pairs with low liquidity and depth. For users, this significantly improves the experience of holding and trading assets. For stablecoin issuers like USD1, who collaborate with exchanges to expand their market, AOR reduces the friction cost for users using the stablecoin as a quoted asset. This effectively eliminates the poor trading experience caused by insufficient order book depth during the early stages of new stablecoins. Of course, some users might feel that this minor improvement in experience is no big deal, but for Binance, it’s a major win. Using technical tools to enhance user experience while optimizing the distribution strategy for partner stablecoin issuers undoubtedly boosts its appeal to attract more small stablecoin partners. Definitely a big plus. For more details, check out the official AOR use case introduction: https://www.(binance.com)/en/support/faq/detail/1dce8dc66adc450a8e669676d64a5135
