[CSRC: Proposal to Clarify Support and Encourage Implementation of Advance Compensation] According to reports from CaiLian News Agency, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) has drafted the *Guiding Opinions on Advance Compensation in the Securities Market (Draft for Public Comment)*, which is now open for public feedback. The draft specifies clear support and encouragement for the implementation of advance compensation. First, based on the provisions in the *Securities Law* that grant advance compensation entities the right to seek recovery, it further clarifies that advance compensation entities, for recovery purposes, may obtain materials related to advance compensation situations from the Investor Protection Fund Company after providing compensation (Article 15). Second, it specifies that the CSRC may, in accordance with laws and regulations, consider matters related to advance compensation as factors in administrative licensing reviews, administrative penalty discretion, and integrity supervision and management of the securities and futures markets (Article 18).
