We can't possibly capture all the profits in a trade. As Livermore said, you can't earn the first dollar at the start or the last dollar at the end.
When the moon is full, it begins to wane; when water overflows, it spills.
If you're aiming to buy at the lowest point and sell at the highest, you're already close to losing. Investing and trading are about making money from probabilities and risk-reward ratios, not from perfectly timing the bottom or the top, nor from fixed price points. If you're often asking, 'Can I catch the bottom of Bitcoin at 78,500?' or 'Will this Bitcoin cycle peak at $180,000?' then maybe it's time to reflect on whether you're turning speculation into a lottery game, handing all your profits over to negative EV luck.
