[South Korean Financial Regulator: SK's Solidigm Listing in the U.S. May Violate Relevant Regulations]
Odaily Planet Daily News – South Korea's financial regulator stated on Monday that if Solidigm, a U.S. subsidiary of SK Hynix, proceeds with a listing, it may violate restrictions related to 'dual listings.' Lee Chan-jin, head of South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service, said that South Korean regulators are studying whether Solidigm's potential IPO in the U.S. would require review under domestic regulations. When asked how the regulator would protect the interests of minority shareholders of SK Hynix if Solidigm goes public, Lee Chan-jin responded: 'We have been closely monitoring this matter... Both the Financial Services Commission and we believe this constitutes a violation of regulations related to "dual listings."' (Jin10)
