Holy crap! Is the first act of Xiao Hei's prophecy about the AI crash → government bailout → crypto surge starting to unfold? From 2026, at least 47 major data center projects have been delayed, obstructed, or withdrawn. Bernstein estimates that only 35% of planned projects are credible. CoreWeave plummeted nearly 25% in just one week. Over 1,000 U.S. communities are trying to restrict AI infrastructure development. A lot of AI data centers are built on borrowed money, relying on future computing power rental income to support today’s financing. But now there’s not enough electricity, construction delays, cost overruns, and some contracts even allow clients like OpenAI and Anthropic to walk away if projects aren’t delivered on time. When clients walk away, developers are left with hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars in debt. If this model starts defaulting on a large scale, it could easily spread AI industry problems to the credit market. Remember BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes (Xiao Hei) and his earlier prediction? His logic was that the AI industry’s crazy debt-fueled expansion → surplus computing power, investment returns unable to cover capital costs → debt crisis erupts → government and the Fed forced to bail out → massive liquidity flows into Bitcoin and the crypto market. He even believes this crisis could surpass the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis in scale, ultimately pushing BTC to $1 million.
