[U.S. Spot Ethereum ETF Weekly Net Outflow of $320.1 Million, Surpassing Bitcoin ETF] According to a report by NewsBTC on October 19, data from Farside Investors shows that during the week of October 12 to 16, the U.S. spot Ethereum ETF experienced a net outflow of $320.1 million, while Bitcoin ETF saw a net outflow of $228.4 million during the same period. The larger outflow from Ethereum ETFs compared to Bitcoin ETFs is primarily due to the slower redemption rate of Bitcoin, placing Ethereum at the forefront in terms of outflow rankings. The report noted that this is not the worst single week in the history of Ethereum ETFs; in a previous five trading days, the net outflow was approximately $542 million. The BlackRock iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) recorded a five-day net outflow of about $299 million, accounting for nearly 93% of the entire market. On Monday, the industry saw a net outflow of $85.4 million, followed by a brief relief with a net inflow of $24.8 million on Tuesday, before selling resumed from Wednesday to Friday. Fidelity's FETH recorded a slight net inflow during the week, indicating that investors are not treating all ETFs equally.
