This week, bitcoin:native's rebound struggled to sustain, mainly due to a lack of continuous buying power. Total active buying volume for the week decreased by 3.1% compared to the previous week, while active selling volume also dropped by 3.6%. However, selling volume still exceeded buying by approximately $520 million. Trading volume is shrinking, sellers remain dominant, and the market lacks the momentum for sustained upward buying. The midweek rebound was indeed driven by buying activity. On the 13th, active buying volume increased by 20% compared to the previous day, while selling volume rose by 10%, with buying briefly surpassing selling. But the next day, buying only increased by 1.6%, while selling surged by 18%. Just as buying gained the upper hand, selling accelerated even faster, causing the rebound to lose support. ethereum:native's active buying volume remained mostly flat this week, while active selling decreased by 4.2%. The rebound was primarily supported by a contraction in selling activity. For example, on the 13th, active buying volume decreased by 6% compared to the previous day, while active selling dropped by 17%. On the 14th, active selling increased by 25%, while buying only rose by 12%, leading to insufficient support for the rebound. Meanwhile, weekly on-chain realized losses grew from $380 million to $542 million, a 42% increase, while realized profits dropped by 55%. Spot buying power hasn't expanded, and on-chain realized losses are intensifying, which is a key signal that ETH still lacks the foundation for a sustained rebound. A shoutout to @Gate, trade more markets!
