Recently, Starknet is conducting a poll on whether it should become a post-quantum L1. I voted in favor: 1. Ethereum's core roadmap no longer includes L2. 2. The Starknet team's research and development capabilities are strong enough to support becoming an independent L1 (what's lacking is marketing and the ability to network with capital). https://governance.(starknet.io)/ /s:starknet.eth/proposal/0x31dffc8b6f24c580540cc967fdede3d8e9d513c105d3f699a14ae65bd0dc5d74 Currently, the pressure on STRK token price mainly comes from team and VC unlocks: ~130 million STRK (~1.7% of circulating supply) unlocked on the 15th of each month, continuing until March 2027. Starknet's last round of financing had a valuation of $8 billion, with VCs facing a 90% unrealized loss—basically, they dump as soon as tokens are unlocked.
