**[Microsoft Cancels UK Data Center Deal with Nscale]** According to a report by Jinse Finance, on October 18, Microsoft has withdrawn from a data center deal in Essex, dealing a blow to UK company Nscale's multi-billion-dollar IPO plans. As one of Nscale's two largest clients, the U.S. tech giant recently informed Nscale that it would terminate the partnership agreement announced last year. This marks a significant setback for Nscale: Microsoft was originally set to be the anchor tenant for the company's first UK data center in Loughton, Essex. Despite the severe sell-off in the AI computing sector, Microsoft's decision could still disrupt Nscale's plans for a Wall Street IPO valued at up to $35 billion (approximately £26 billion). An Nscale spokesperson stated: "We remain committed to advancing the Loughton project and our expansion in the UK market. We are currently seeking alternative power sources for the site while planning additional expansion locations within the UK. Our partnership with Microsoft remains strong and long-term, and this London-wide grid issue will not affect our other contracts."
