BTC If we were to sweep the $75k low, it’ll be soon. When comparing the 2023 fractal to the current one, there are some clear structural similarities, but also a few important differences. Back then, BTC first formed a range, briefly deviated below it and then expanded above the range to establish a new high. However, that breakout was never really sustained. Price only managed to hold above the previous range highs for a few days before entering a corrective phase, where BTC swept the previous low before eventually expanding higher again. The current structure initially developed in a very similar way, with the $75k low forming during the deviation before BTC expanded into a clear higher high. The key difference is what happened afterwards. BTC has now been holding above the previous range highs for roughly three weeks, with that same area repeatedly acting as support. On top of that, almost all of the local downside liquidity has already been swept, while the highs around $87k remain untouched. There is also an interesting difference from a time perspective. In 2023, it took roughly 49 days from the beginning of the first range until the major liquidity hunt took place. We have already moved beyond that same time span in the current structure. This doesn’t necessarily mean that $75k can’t still get swept, but the longer BTC continues holding above the previous range highs, the less convinced I become that we need to revisit $75k at all. Especially considering that the crowd seems to be waiting for that exact move to position themselves for the next leg up.
