[Apple Hires Meta Veteran Executive Scott Tucker to Oversee Global Litigation and Financial Services Legal Affairs] According to Bloomberg, citing sources familiar with the matter, Apple has hired Scott Tucker, Meta's longtime Deputy General Counsel and Head of Litigation, to serve as the newly created Vice President of Global Litigation and Financial Services. Tucker will be responsible for global commercial and patent litigation, as well as legal matters related to Apple's financial products. Tucker will once again work alongside Apple's General Counsel Jennifer Newstead, who joined Apple from Meta in March of this year. This move is part of a restructuring of Apple's legal team, against the backdrop of the company facing U.S. antitrust lawsuits, its App Store dispute with Epic Games, and lawsuits involving privacy and Siri functionality delays. Both Apple and Meta declined to comment.
