[Anthropic Co-Founder: AI Could Significantly Boost U.S. GDP to $44 Trillion] Odaily Planet Daily News – Anthropic co-founder Jack Clark stated on Saturday that artificial intelligence capabilities are advancing rapidly, bringing faster changes across various fields. According to an internal economic model from the company, AI could potentially drive U.S. economic output to a substantial increase, reaching $44 trillion by 2030. Speaking at the IMF and World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok, Clark emphasized that the international community needs to work together to establish 'special and stringent rules' for this transformative technology. Clark acknowledged that the prediction of U.S. GDP reaching $44 trillion—compared to the current level of slightly above $30 trillion—'sounds extremely far-fetched,' but noted that AI is significantly accelerating scientific discoveries. 'As long as this technology continues to advance, such an outcome is possible. If GDP truly grows to this extent, then according to economic theory, new industries and inventions would need to be created to drive such large-scale economic expansion.' (Jin10)
