Seeing Liu Ye's tweet, I feel that some things should still be viewed objectively.
A while ago, HTX's compliance issues sparked some discussions. Now, a few months have passed, and at least from the platform's public performance, business is still moving forward as usual, with user trading and deposit/withdrawal services continuing to operate.
Take a look at HTX's recently released Q3 report and the quarterly buyback and burn mechanism they’re steadily implementing—it shows the platform hasn’t stopped its development despite external controversies.
Of course, compliance issues are important and should be taken seriously—this applies to any exchange. Different platforms adopt different measures based on their own risk control and compliance requirements, which is completely understandable.
But I think evaluating an exchange requires looking at both the challenges it faces and how it responds to them, as well as whether its actual business operations are affected.
The industry has come a long way, and it hasn’t been easy for anyone. Competition is competition, compliance is compliance—there’s no need to turn normal risk discussions into emotional confrontations.
For users, asset security, trading experience, and the platform’s long-term stable operations are what matter most.
Less emotion, more facts. Let the data speak, and let time be the test.
I hope HTX continues to do well in its business, and I also hope the entire industry becomes more regulated.
