**[DTCC Tokenization Service Initially Supports 25 Securities, Underlying Asset Scale Approximately $30 Trillion]** Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on October 17, according to information released by DTCC regarding its tokenization service, the service will initially open support for 25 tokenizable securities. The underlying assets are securities held in custody by DTC, with a scale of approximately $30 trillion. Tokens will maintain a 1:1 correspondence with the original securities, using the same CUSIP, with rights and investor protections consistent with book-entry securities. Official ledger records will still be maintained by DTC. Peer-to-peer transfers between DTC-registered wallets can occur 24/7, and tokens will include compliance transfer restrictions. Users can submit conversion orders via UI and API between 2:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Time on business days, with a target processing time of under 15 minutes. Dividend payments and maturity services for U.S. Treasury securities will be conducted on-chain, with funds paid in fiat currency to participants' traditional accounts. The initial supported assets include Russell 1000 index components (starting with select large-cap stocks), certain ETFs, and U.S. Treasury securities. The first networks to go live are Canton Network (CIP-56) and DTCC's private network Besu (ERC-20), with Stellar (SEP-41) and Circle's Arc (ERC-20) expected to be integrated by 2027. The subsequent roadmap includes expanding the range of tokenizable securities, adding single sign-on and maker-checker control features, extending corporate action services for stocks and ETFs, merging book-entry and on-chain stock records, supporting on-chain net settlement, collateral, and digital cash, and gradually expanding the scope of compliant DTC participants. Priorities for 2027 and beyond will be determined based on participant and industry feedback.
