This marks the latest instance of the company recruiting talent from Musk's AI ventures. Siemens has been leading the sales team at xAI since August 2025 and was involved in the company's recent efforts to pitch the Grok chatbot to Wall Street. He stated that he will be joining the cybersecurity team of the ChatGPT developer. Siemens is another senior sales executive that OpenAI has poached from SpaceX's AI division. According to his LinkedIn profile, prior to joining xAI last year, Siemens worked at MongoDB for approximately eight years.
