Young men have every right to be angry. Young women too. Their future is actively being robbed from them. Disconnected Boomers continue to drain the coffers. While wealthy corporate oligarchs, fund grifters to run the country in exchange for anti-worker policies. The profit off contracts with the government, and insider trading, while you need 2 full/time jobs just to rent an apartment in any major city. All while the rest of the world talks about replacing you with AI and robots. Who wouldn’t be angry? But just like we’ve seen throughout history, the worst exploiters are the ones that tell you to be angry at your peers, rather than those in charge. They misdirect your rage, so you pay no attention to them whilst they rob you blind. Be upset, get angry, and do something about it. But know where that anger should be directed. Because while you’re all gnashing your teeth about “culture war” issues, the rest of us are worried if you’re going to have a future. A future where you can buy a home. A future where you don’t have to pick between eating and healthcare. A future that actually means something. That’s what’s worth being angry about.
