New mechanism for unlocking team tokens: KPI driven Believe Plan: Set KPIs for the team, and the team tokens will no longer be unlocked on a point by point basis, but will be released based on the completion of the KPIs. This mechanism, recently launched by TGE on Binance Alpha's AI intelligent agent economy project @ NeoSoulAI, has made an interesting attempt at team token unlocking mechanism and launched a plan called Believe Plan. Simply put, after being locked in for one year, the team's tokens will no longer be unlocked linearly over the next 2-3 years like regular projects, but will be released based on the completion of project KPIs. Current KPI completion → corresponding token unlocking; The current KPI has not been met → the corresponding token unlocking limit has been reset to zero. I think this mechanism is worth discussing because most team tokens for current projects are unlocked at a certain point. As long as the lock up period ends, regardless of how the project develops, the team can receive the tokens according to the established plan. That's also why we often see some projects that haven't made much actual progress in terms of product and ecosystem after one year of TGE, but tokens are starting to be unlocked continuously. Ultimately, traditional time lock ins can constrain when a team sells coins, but it is difficult to constrain how much progress the team has made during this period. Regardless of whether it is done well or not, tokens are unlocked based on time, and the economic interests of the team are not directly linked to the actual development results of the project. And NeoSoul's Believe Plan attempts to change this motivational relationship. According to the currently announced rules, the total supply of DNA is 1 billion pieces, of which team allocation accounts for 10%, or 100 million pieces of DNA. This part of the tokens will be locked for 12 months first, and then unlocked in installments according to KPI. If the current KPI is not completed, the corresponding unlocking amount will be directly invalidated instead of being postponed to the next period. At the same time, the project party also needs to regularly disclose KPI completion status, verification data, actual unlocked or invalidated quantities, and on chain records. That is to say, in order for the team to obtain their own tokens, time alone is not enough, they also need to show actual results. I personally think that this approach of linking team economic benefits to project deliverables is more meaningful than simply extending lock up time. Of course, this mechanism involves two very critical issues: KPIs. If KPIs are only indicators that are easy to brush up, such as fan growth, community interaction, and the number of agents created, even if they are ultimately completed, it does not necessarily mean that the project has truly created value. For a project like NeoSoul that focuses on AI agent economic infrastructure, I personally prefer to use real user retention, the actual execution ability of the agent, and the real revenue generated by the product as the main assessment criteria. After all, NeoSoul's NeoTrade plans to charge fees for Agent services, Skills, and data services through DNA in the future. I think the number of users who actually use these products and are willing to continue paying for the services can better reflect the development of the project than just the number of times the products are used. At present, NeoSoul's plan is to publicly solicit KPI indicators and suggestions for the Believe Plan from the community, which I think is a good idea. Collaborate and provide opportunities for the community to participate in the development of team incentive rules, rather than just passively accepting the unlocking plan announced by the project team. However, I personally believe that this mechanism has one principle that cannot be compromised: KPIs must be quantifiable, data must be verifiable, and penalties for not meeting KPIs must be truly enforced. Otherwise, even the best mechanisms may ultimately become mere formalities. It is still uncertain whether NeoSoul's Believe Plan can achieve the expected results, as the real test will wait until the KPIs are implemented in the future. But at least it provides a direction worth observing in the industry: how many token rewards a team can receive should not only depend on how much time has passed, but also on how much value has been created during this period. The encryption industry actually does not lack teams that promise long-term development. What is truly lacking are teams that are willing to link their economic interests with long-term delivery results. By the way, NeoSoul's TGE has airdrops. Friends who have previously participated in their related products can check their official website to see if they have them. The total supply of DNA is 1 billion pieces, and today the initial circulation of TGE is 13% (130 million pieces), of which airdrop unlocking accounts for 1% (10 million pieces) of the total.
