[Shanghai: Advancing the Construction of the National Blockchain Network (Shanghai Hub) and Strengthening Foundational Capabilities such as Cross-Chain Services] Deep Tide TechFlow reports that on October 16, the Shanghai Cyberspace Administration and Shanghai Data Bureau issued the 'Several Measures to Promote High-Level Opening-Up and Facilitate Cross-Border Data Flow in Shanghai.' Among the measures proposed are the improvement of cross-border data flow infrastructure, the in-depth advancement of the National Blockchain Network (Shanghai Hub) construction, and the enhancement of foundational capabilities such as distributed digital identity, privacy computing, and cross-chain services. Support will be provided for the construction of facilities enabling cross-border data flow services, with exploration into rule-recognition-based cross-border data service models. Additionally, support will be given to the development of international data centers to bolster the computing power service industry and related cross-border digital services.
