[Shanghai: Supporting the construction of international data centers, bolstering the computing power service industry and related cross-border digital services] Foresight News reports that the Shanghai Cyberspace Administration and Shanghai Data Bureau have issued the 'Several Measures to Promote High-Level Opening-Up and Facilitate Cross-Border Data Flow in Shanghai.' The measures propose improving cross-border data flow infrastructure, advancing the construction of the National Blockchain Network (Shanghai Hub), and strengthening foundational capabilities such as distributed digital identity, privacy computing, and cross-chain services. They also support the development of cross-border data flow service facilities, explore rule-recognition-based cross-border data service models, and promote applications in scenarios such as finance and automotive. Additionally, they aim to support the Lingang New Area, Hongqiao International Central Business District, and Pudong New Area in becoming hubs for international data collaboration. The measures advocate for the construction of international data centers to bolster the computing power service industry and related cross-border digital services.
