[Taiwan Blocks Coinbase and Kalshi Over Alleged Violations] According to Bloomberg, Taiwan has blocked the websites of Coinbase and prediction market platform Kalshi due to alleged involvement in election betting. The New Taipei District Court has authorized Taiwan's communications regulator and domain registration authorities to restrict local users' access to these platforms. Previously, Taiwan also blocked Kalshi's main competitor, Polymarket.
