When BTC surged to 87395, we mentioned that the weekly-level uptrend starting from 57800 was entering a correction phase. After 16 days, BTC dropped to 80393 ✅
In last Sunday’s video, we said the uptrend starting from 80393 was likely just a rebound, as its momentum didn’t seem strong enough to be a new rally. Today’s break below 80226 confirms that the rise from 80393 was indeed a rebound ✅
So, what’s next? Is BTC heading back to 40k or even 30k?
As shown in Chart 1, if the drop from 126200 ended at 57800, the black segment represents the first wave of weekly-level uptrend. For now, the decline from 87395 is still likely a correction of the black segment’s uptrend at the same level. The longer BTC stays above the green Gann angle line 2/1 (currently at 78400), the more likely the drop from 87395 is just a correction.
On the smaller scale, as shown in Chart 2, the decline from 87395 is a weekly-level correction with a relatively complex structure. Watch for resistance at 83000, which is the Fibonacci 0.382 level of the 87395-80226 range. If BTC stabilizes above this level, it could confirm the end of the correction; otherwise, the adjustment will continue.
We’ve said it many times: the more complex the correction process, the smoother the trend will be after the correction ends. Once BTC finds the bottom of this weekly-level correction, it will resume its uptrend, and the next rally will be stronger than the 57800-87395 move.
