When I was in Singapore, I saw @dov_wo hyping up pearl-2:native, so I casually grabbed a small position on Fomo.
After getting back to Australia, I did some research and found that it does have some potential, but it’s not entirely a new narrative. The concept of POUW (Proof of Useful Work) actually dates back to two or three years ago when ZK was trending—other projects tried combining ZK proofs with mining back then.
This time, it’s tied to a bigger application scenario—AI inference.
I had a long chat with my AI about it, and we came to the consensus that for now, the narrative still outweighs the fundamentals. Aside from Together’s collaborative mining rigs, most miners aren’t doing effective inference yet; it’s still just pure mining.
But today, by coincidence, I stumbled upon @brezshares’ September post hyping this up, and I kind of regret not seeing it earlier. If I had seen it earlier, I definitely would’ve bought a bigger position than just a small one.
It’s not that I was completely convinced, but man, when it comes to hyping a coin, these foreigners really know how to do it. I seriously feel inferior! Orz
Highly recommend giving it a read. The coin price doesn’t matter—just learn from how they hype it, the angles they take, and the logic behind their arguments. Blah Blah
