A wave of wailing! U.S. CPI exceeded expectations, Japanese and Korean stock markets plunged, and South Korea triggered a circuit breaker. Geopolitical tensions aren’t easing either: according to U.S. media, the U.S. has drafted new plans for strikes against Iran, potentially using the 'Mother of All Bombs' for the first time in operations against Iran. Meanwhile, Zelensky announced the resumption of attacks on Russian refineries. Brent crude is hovering around $104/barrel, energy prices remain high, and the pressure from inflation and interest rates is hard to alleviate. The macro environment is still not looking optimistic.
Where the market goes next, I don’t know—nobody can predict it with 100% accuracy. I’m sticking to half spot holdings and half $USDT for now. I still don’t see the foundation for a sustained bull market; if the base isn’t stable, it’s hard to build a tall house. I’ve been waiting for an opportunity brought by extreme panic—it might not happen, but if it does, I’ll go all-in on the bloodied chips.
