The price swings behind Bitcoin—what’s most dangerous isn’t the CPI data, it’s Trump❗️
Yesterday, as soon as the CPI data dropped, Bitcoin fell below 83K.
The probability of a Fed rate hike in October skyrocketed from 21.6% to 43.7%, doubling instantly.
But the real risk isn’t in the CPI—it’s in Trump and Iran.
Before the midterm elections, Trump is suppressing oil prices.
He’s allowing Russian diesel, claiming “the Iran deal is almost done,” and publicly promising not to strike Iran before November 3.
Before the election, he’s putting on a show.
After the election, he won’t need to pretend anymore.
Netanyahu is pushing him to act, and aircraft carrier strike groups are already being reinforced. If conflict breaks out, oil prices will surge, inflation expectations will rise again, and the probability of a December rate hike will continue climbing—it’s practically a done deal.
U.S. Treasury yields for 10-year and 30-year bonds will rise, the dollar will strengthen, and gold and Bitcoin will drop.
This chain reaction might already be priced into the market.
Bitcoin hovering around 82K doesn’t mean it lacks direction.
It’s waiting for the election results.
Before the election, Trump needs the stock market to stay stable.
After the election, he won’t care as much.
With U.S. Treasury yields so high and the dollar index still artificially inflated, once the midterms are over, the market will move freely. Oil prices will spike, and if U.S. stocks take a nosedive, can Bitcoin really stay unaffected?
No way❗️
Bitcoin at 80K is the first test level.
If it breaks 80K, 75K is the next liquidation zone.
It’s not the election that’s setting the price.
It’s the post-election Trump, the one who “doesn’t need to pretend anymore,” setting the price.
