Talking about changes in trading strategies. 1. From the previous: Spot long + Futures short, to: Spot long + Futures both long and short. This way, when going long, it’s 2x leverage (100% spot + 100% futures long). When going short, it’s essentially a neutral position (100% spot and 100% futures cancel each other out). After over half a year of testing this strategy, I feel comfortable managing 2x leverage. The reduced volatility in the crypto market also lowers the risk of using 2x leverage. Although I use a maximum of 2x leverage, the risk of shorting during a bull market is higher than going long. ETH is unlikely to drop 50%, but it’s much easier for it to rise 100%. So, I use 2x leverage when going long, but only 1x leverage when going short. Of course, holding onto losing positions is definitely not an option. Just like I said before: https://(x.com)/Jiangzhuoer2/status/2102941089368080416 The market moves like a winding river. Traders need to "jump side to side," flowing with the river, not crashing into the riverbanks. 2. Prioritize ETH when going long. The theme of this cycle is RWA. RWA is the biggest, and arguably the only, purpose and significance of blockchain. If prices drop to a good level later, I’ll also pick up some DeFi tokens in spot positions. 3. We’re still in a daily-level bearish trend. Just closed my short and flipped to long for a short-term rebound. If it bounces up, I’ll close the long and flip back to short. :)
