According to French media Cryptoast citing Paris Match, on October 11th, a 47 year old man named F.A., who was suspected of involvement in multiple kidnapping, illegal detention, and violent robbery cases against cryptocurrency holders, was found dead in a car in the city of Nimes, France, and was shot multiple times. The man has a record of 14 criminal convictions. In 2024, he was convicted of assaulting a businessman and two entrepreneurs engaged in cryptocurrency luxury watch trading, and was suspected of participating in a kidnapping case where Dubai residents were lured to Paris in an attempt to seize 130000 euros and luxury watches. The man was previously in pre-trial detention but was released due to flaws in the judicial process. The local prosecutor is investigating whether this case involves retaliation between criminal gangs, and the suspect in the shooting case is still under investigation. https://(wublock123.com)/news/man-linked-to-multiple-crypto-kidnap-robberies-released-shot-dead-70025
