According to Wu Blockchain, Jito has announced an upgrade to the transaction bundle processing infrastructure on Solana's BAM, introducing a new feature called Direct Bundle Ingest (DBI). This allows searchers to directly submit transaction bundles to BAM nodes via QUIC or JSON-RPC, bypassing the Jito Block Engine. Transaction bundles and sendTransaction traffic previously handled by the Block Engine are now directly forwarded to BAM through DBI, skipping the approximately 50-millisecond auction process in the Block Engine. Jito's data shows that compared to the period from September 3 to September 20, during September 20 to October 7, the number of transaction bundles received by BAM decreased by 7.5%, while the number of successfully on-chain bundles increased by 16.9%. The end-to-end on-chain success rate rose from 0.45% to 0.57%, the average reward per successfully on-chain bundle grew by 72.4%, and the total transaction bundle tips increased from 14,279 SOL to 28,765 SOL, a 101.5% surge. Currently, DBI is only available to a select group of early searchers. https://(wublock123.com)/news/jito-bam-bundle-upgrade-onchain-count-up-16-9-tip-volume-doubles-70014
