What if we think the most anti system thing is actually designed by the system? I recently came across a conspiracy theory about Bitcoin and found it quite interesting. First of all, we are discussing this hypothesis, not that it has been confirmed. Its logic is not just that Bitcoin can track the flow of gold, but the entire process from rebellion to mainstream acceptance. ️ The first scene is Silk Road. Assuming the government wants everyone to accept a digital ledger that permanently records transactions, directly launched by the government, those who least trust the government will definitely oppose it first. But what if it first appeared on the dark web, packaged as a tool that does not rely on banks and resists the system? Hackers, libertarians, and anti-government individuals may actually become the first users and promoters. The first layer of this conspiracy theory is to use the image of "rebellion" to encourage the most resistant people to join voluntarily. ️ The second act is that the government itself holds Bitcoin. The United States has seized Bitcoin in various cases: while cracking down on illegal markets, the government has also acquired assets used in these markets. From a conspiracy theory perspective, this is not about eliminating it, but gradually incorporating it into one's own system. ️ The third act is between Satoshi Nakamoto and the NSA. A mysterious founder who left behind a system that changed the world and then disappeared. In addition, the SHA-256 used by Bitcoin belongs to the SHA-2 family designed by the NSA: "Could Satoshi not be a person at all, but a code name for an intelligence agency? '' I also came up with a name meme: Nakamoto is "Nakamoto" and Satoshi is "Satoshi". If you associate 'Zhong' with Central and 'Cong' with Intelligence, it's easy to think of the CIA Of course, this is a word association, not a correct translation, and certainly not evidence. The fourth act is the entry of anti institutional assets into the system. Wall Street launched ETF, Ross Ulbricht, founder of Trump Amnesty Silk Road, and the United States established strategic bitcoin reserves. This hypothesis connects these events that occurred at different times and asks a question: Did Bitcoin change the system, or did the system find a way to absorb Bitcoin? The last scene is what it really wants to talk about, the 'Trojan Horse'. Firstly, let everyone accept digital currency and establish infrastructure in pursuit of freedom; Wait until cash gradually withdraws before bringing people to the government controlled CBDC. In other words, the harshest part of this story is not to defeat a revolution, but to let the revolution pave the way for oneself. But it must be clarified here: using algorithms designed by NSA does not mean NSA controls Bitcoin; Government holding currency does not necessarily mean that the government created it. Bitcoin will not automatically become a CBDC. When we welcome ETFs, institutions, and governments into the market, do we expect prices to be recognized, or do we expect the freedom that originally required no approval from anyone? These two things may not always go in the same direction.
