Wu Blockchain has learned that the BIS Innovation Hub (Bank for International Settlements) has released the second phase research results of Project Aurum. In collaboration with the Hong Kong Monetary Authority and other institutions, they have developed a prototype for privacy-focused digital cash, incorporating zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP), BBS+ signatures, and encryption technologies. This approach reduces exposure of personal and transaction data while maintaining regulatory compliance mechanisms. BIS stated that the prototype uses a default privacy design, which can be adjusted to balance privacy, transaction transparency, and compliance features based on policy needs, providing a reference for central banks exploring digital cash systems. The project is currently in the proof-of-concept stage and has not yet entered formal issuance or commercial deployment. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/bis-completes-privacy-digital-cash-poc-with-zk-proofs-and-crypto-signatures-69981
