According to Bloomberg, as cryptocurrency trading platforms continue to expand their U.S. stock trading services, brokerage infrastructure tech startup Alpaca is planning to enter the Prime Brokerage space, which has long been dominated by major Wall Street investment banks. Alpaca CEO Yoshi Yokokawa revealed in an interview that the company plans to officially launch its prime brokerage services in Q1 2027, aiming to provide trading financing and other services for hedge funds and large investment institutions. This move seeks to meet the growing demand for cross-market trading between crypto platforms and traditional stock markets. Notably, current tokenized U.S. stock and crypto-to-stock trading solutions offered by platforms like Binance, Kraken, and Bitget are all underpinned by Alpaca’s clearing, custody, and brokerage API infrastructure. https://www.(wublock123.com)/news/alpaca-launches-prime-brokerage-q1-2027-69964
