Don’t add to your positions! The market is showing severe bearish divergence—be careful not to get stuck at the peak!
1. S&P 500 SPY
We’re already in the second half of the bull market. Every new high comes with bearish divergence. Prices are way too far from the moving average, and a -10%-15% pullback to the moving average is inevitable. Don’t recklessly add positions now—just hold onto what you’ve got and keep your hands off the buy button.
2. Semiconductor ETF SMH
The lifeline of AI hasn’t fully confirmed a bottom yet. The current movement might just be a weak rebound, with no new highs. There’s always a risk of a sharp drop forming a deep pit. Keep cash on hand and don’t blindly go all-in. Use trailing stops to protect your profits.
3. Nasdaq QQQ
Big tech is in the same boat as the S&P—what goes up must come down. Prices are significantly deviating from the moving average, and the bearish divergence is obvious. A mean reversion to the moving average is bound to happen sooner or later. For now, it’s only suitable for short-term trades. Don’t make big moves—stay balanced and wait for the big opportunities.
A major pullback is just around the corner.
