Meta was pretty much the standout last night, thanks to the release of two models: Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full. According to the official announcement, these models have achieved cutting-edge performance in personal and professional AI agent tasks. This also marks the first advanced model launch from Meta Super Intelligence Lab (MSL) since its restructuring last year.
Starting today, Muse Wonder is available via the Meta Model API and the programming agent Muse Code. API pricing is set at $4 per million input tokens and $20 per million output tokens, exactly the same as Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5.5 released last month. The more powerful Muse Wonder Full isn’t available via API and is only offered to Muse Code subscribers at two tiers: $50/month and $200/month.
As we discussed before: Muse is on the right track, and the gap in model capabilities is narrowing.
Back in early July, we clearly talked about how Meta still has significant opportunities in AI, and now it seems to be initially validated: https://(x.com)/qinbafrank/status/2073249685780000833?s=46&t=k6rimWsEbo2D2tXolYcM-A
