[Yuga Labs VP of Blockchain: Advises Users to Immediately Revoke Blur Contract Authorization]
Odaily Planet Daily News – Yuga Labs Vice President of Blockchain Operations, Quit, posted on the X platform stating that with Blur announcing the deactivation of its front-end on November 12, users are advised to immediately revoke NFT authorizations for Blur's smart contracts. Quit mentioned that their investigation has not yet identified any exploitable vulnerabilities in Blur's existing contracts, but since these contracts are upgradable, there is a potential risk of malicious modifications in the future. Currently, NFTs worth at least $10 million remain authorized to Blur contracts, and their security depends on the operational security capabilities of the Blur team. Quit recommends users use tools like revoke.cash to revoke these authorizations to mitigate potential risks of contract attacks or malicious upgrades.
