Hedge fund Abraxas Capital covers losses and closes 137 BTC shorts, while increasing short positions on VVV Hedge fund Abraxas Capital's two associated addresses simultaneously closed BTC short positions today, reducing a total of 137 BTC shorts and realizing a loss of $830,000. Currently, Abraxas holds a total of 5,271 BTC short positions, valued at $438 million, with an unrealized loss of $32.73 million. In addition, Abraxas has increased its short positions on VVV, with the two addresses adding approximately 9,902 VVV shorts in total. Interestingly, VVV's largest long holder, 0xc179…e0c8, made significant reductions in their long positions today: a net decrease of 154,300 VVV, slashing 52.5% of their holdings and realizing a loss of $163,000. As of now, 0xc179 still holds $3.1658 million worth of VVV long positions, with an unrealized loss of approximately $83,000, ranking third on the long holders' leaderboard.
