[Bloomberg ETF Analyst: Lack of Breadth in the U.S. Stock Market Is Not a Cause for Concern] Odaily Planet Daily News – Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas posted on the X platform, stating that over the past 100 years, only 4% of stocks have contributed to all of the net wealth growth in the U.S. market, and about half of companies have underperformed U.S. Treasury bonds. Therefore, the lack of market breadth has always existed. Microsoft and Google have each acquired 270 companies. He noted that these large companies are more like small nations, and investors might consider viewing the 'Magnificent Seven' as the 'Magnificent 700.' Currently, the S&P 500 Index may be led by hundreds of companies.
