Warren Buffett
If you’re not willing to own a stock for ten years,
then don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes.
Duan Yongping’s interpretation:
If you’re not planning to hold something for 10 years as an 'investment,'
it’s better not to touch it.
Don’t get caught up in the market hype or trends.
Even if you plan to hold for 10 years,
it doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll end up holding it for that long.
But having a mindset of not planning to hold for 10 years
will make it easy for you to make speculative decisions.
So why did Duan Yongping buy 1% of $CRCL back then?
And then sell calls, only to have it all called away?
