[Cathie Wood: Investors Should Focus on AI Agent Capital Flows, Machine Payments May Become the Next Indicator of AI Adoption] According to Deep Tide TechFlow on October 5, as reported by CrowdFundInsider, ARK Invest CEO Cathie Wood stated that when assessing the next wave of technological trends, investors should shift their focus from the time developers spend to tracking the consumption behavior of AI Agents—specifically, observing which services autonomous software directs funds toward. As AI Agents evolve from answering questions to autonomously executing tasks, the market needs to pay attention to how these agents select services, complete transactions, and direct capital flows. In the future, payment activities generated by AI Agents may better reflect the true adoption of technology than product launches themselves. Cathie Wood, in her forecast for market development by 2027, predicted that OpenAI, Anthropic, and NVIDIA will continue to be at the core of competition in AI infrastructure. She noted that computing power supply, energy, capital investment, and model reliability remain key constraints to industry expansion. If AI Agents have already begun autonomously selecting services and making payments, tracking their capital flows could become a critical way to measure the commercialization and implementation of AI.
