I used to think account security was just about not clicking random links or leaking verification codes. But after seeing so many cases of accounts being hacked, I realized that it’s not that people lack security awareness—it’s that when something happens, it often catches them at the worst possible moment to make a judgment. Like withdrawing funds late at night, being rushed by the other party, links that look legit, or clipboard addresses being altered when copied. A lot of money isn’t lost to market fluctuations but is directly taken away by a Trojan, remote control, or phishing page. That’s why I think OKX @okxchinese is on the right track with their new "Shield" feature. Instead of warning you after something goes wrong, it checks your account and device status before critical actions like trading or withdrawing funds. For example, it looks at device security, Passkey, large withdrawal protection, Web withdrawal protection, multi-factor authentication—all things you can check ahead of time. This is super important for regular users. After all, most people don’t spend their days studying Trojans, remote control attacks, or clipboard tampering. When platforms integrate advanced security features into their products, that’s real protection. Of course, theft compensation isn’t unconditional. Things like confirmed scam transfers, investment losses, entering the wrong address, wallet/DeFi losses—these can’t be simply understood as fully covered. In the end, it still depends on the rules and review process. But at least this direction is worth acknowledging. Making money in crypto is already hard enough —don’t let it end up being lost to a phishing link or an account breach. Your profits determine how much you earn, but security determines whether that money stays in your hands. @misaENFP @star_okx
