🚨BREAKING: Former Nvidia advisor claims he is owed roughly $1 BILLION in stock over a vesting error buried in a 1993 agreement.
Eric Gullichsen says his signed grant specified that 25,000 options would fully vest within ONE YEAR. Nvidia instead applied a four-year schedule, leaving him 9,375 options short.
After decades of stock splits, those options would represent 4.5 MILLION shares, worth roughly $1.01 billion at Nvidia’s September 25 closing price.
He says he discovered the discrepancy while revisiting documents in 2024 and that Nvidia rejected a settlement for a much smaller amount.
Nvidia has not publicly responded to the claims.
