[U.S. Stock Market to Enter 'Around-the-Clock Trading,' Will HYPE Face Pullback Pressure as a Result?] BlockBeats News, October 3: Nasdaq plans to introduce an additional trading session from 9 PM to 4 AM Eastern Time starting December 6, moving closer to a five-day-a-week, 23-hour-per-day trading schedule. Based on standard time, the new session corresponds to 10 AM to 5 PM Beijing Time, meaning Asian investors will soon be able to trade U.S. stocks directly during daytime hours. The expansion of trading hours in traditional markets is not limited to the stock market. CME already offers 24/7 trading for 1-ounce gold and 100-ounce silver futures, though it still retains maintenance windows; the official website for the 10-barrel WTI crude oil contract still shows it as pending launch. Traditional markets are moving toward around-the-clock trading. This also begins to erode one of the most straightforward advantages of HIP-3: the ability to continue trading on-chain even when traditional markets are closed.
