According to Wu Blockchain, Aave Labs has submitted an ARFC proposal to establish a non-member Aave Foundation in the Cayman Islands. The foundation will be responsible for holding, protecting, and licensing Aave trademarks, primary domain names, protocol code, and related intellectual property. This is the first phase, focusing only on the foundation's registration and the appointment of independent directors, supervisors, and a secretary. The DAO will cover reasonable registration, legal, and setup costs, with no ongoing budget allocated. Aave Labs and DAO service providers are prohibited from appointing or serving as directors or supervisors. Governance rights for token listings, parameter adjustments, budgets, and service provider selection will remain with the DAO. Future transfers of trademarks, domain names, and code IP will be submitted for governance review separately. The foundation will disclose its held assets, operational expenses, and related legal actions on a quarterly basis. https://(wublock123.com)/news/aave-labs-arfc-proposal-create-aave-foundation-cayman-69450
