During the National Day holiday, some people are out traveling, dining, and spending money. Meanwhile, there’s another group staring at their screens, working with a starting capital of about 1000U, thinking about how to grow that small amount into something bigger. I get that sense of urgency. When your capital is small, spot trading feels too slow, and leverage trading seems like the only way out. Watching others make thousands of U in one move, it feels like you’ll never turn things around unless you go all in with your 1000U. But after trading for a while, your perspective might shift. The most valuable thing about 1000U isn’t necessarily how much you can make with it—it’s that you can afford to lose it. Losing it will sting, sure, but at least you can keep watching the market. If you can’t even hold onto this, then whether it’s 3000 or 30,000 later, the outcome will likely be the same. What you need to practice isn’t doubling your money in one go. It’s resisting the urge to chase that green candle that’s already pumped, waiting for a decent entry point, and not immediately trying to recover losses after a stop-loss. These are far more practical than hunting for “the next 100x coin.” So, for those just starting out, there’s no need to stress too much over these few days. You don’t have to turn 1000U into 3000U right away. First, see if you can manage to keep it intact for a month or two. When a big green candle no longer excites you, and a stop-loss doesn’t make you desperate to recover immediately, that’s when your trading journey truly begins. Having a small starting capital isn’t scary. What’s scary is having only 1000U in your account but trading like you’re gambling with a million. The market will still be here tomorrow. Happy National Day, and don’t burn yourself out at the starting line.
