[Micron's Q1 Revenue Guidance Exceeds Expectations, AI Demand Remains Strong] According to a report by Jinse Finance, on October 1, Micron Technology (MU.O) reported fiscal year 2026 Q4 revenue of $54.229 billion, compared to $11.315 billion in the same period last year, surpassing the market expectation of $50.584 billion. Micron also provided a better-than-expected sales forecast for the current quarter, driven by unprecedented demand fueled by the rapid development of artificial intelligence. In a statement on Wednesday, the company said it expects revenue for the first quarter of the next fiscal year to be approximately $60 billion to $63 billion, while analysts had an average estimate of $56.8 billion. The company anticipates that the supply and demand dynamics for memory and storage in fiscal years 2027 and 2028 will be significantly tighter than in 2026. Excluding certain items, profits are expected to be approximately $38.15 per share, compared to the forecast of $36.02 per share. Following the report, the stock price rose by less than 1% in after-hours trading. Morgan Stanley analysts commented: 'We believe the short-term market conditions remain very favorable, with strong demand and evident price increases. The focus of the discussion has clearly shifted from how good it can get to how long the positive momentum can last.'
