[Surge in Altcoin Deposit Transactions on Exchanges by 160% in Two Weeks, Potential Selling Pressure May Rise]
BlockBeats News, September 30 — According to the latest data from CryptoQuant, the 7-day cumulative number of altcoin deposit transactions on exchanges rose to 78,000 on September 28, up approximately 160% from around 29,800 on September 14, marking the highest level since October 2025. During the same period, the number of addresses depositing altcoins into exchanges increased from approximately 17,600 to 51,600, nearly tripling and also reaching a one-year high.
CryptoQuant noted that this round of inflows to exchanges involves a wide range of assets and pointed out that holders transferring tokens to exchanges typically indicate an intention to sell, suggesting that the data may signal potential selling pressure.
Meanwhile, altcoins have recently shown stronger performance relative to Bitcoin. Bitcoin's market dominance has fluctuated between 58% and 60.4% since May 27 and remains below 60% currently. As of September 27, crypto assets outside the top 10 by market capitalization accounted for 9% of the total market value, the highest level since February this year. [Original Link]
