[Ministry of Commerce: Extension of the Investigation Period for Trade Barriers Related to U.S. Practices Disrupting the Global Production and Supply Chain] In accordance with the "Foreign Trade Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Rules on Foreign Trade Barrier Investigations" issued by the Ministry of Commerce, on March 27, 2026, the Ministry of Commerce released Announcement No. 17 of 2026, deciding to initiate a trade barrier investigation into U.S. practices and measures that disrupt the global production and supply chain. Given the complexity of the case, and pursuant to Article 32 of the "Rules on Foreign Trade Barrier Investigations," the Ministry of Commerce has decided to extend the investigation period for this case to December 27, 2026.
