Talking about altcoins: 1. Like the red circle in the image, for altcoins, this is just considered consolidation. If an altcoin pumps 800% and then pulls back 20%, that’s still just consolidation. 2. Buying in at this kind of spot is just a small opportunity, like hopping on a bus at a random stop—it’s a temporary chance to get on, not a major station, and definitely not the end of the line for the trend. 3. The big opportunities in altcoins usually come when your patience and conviction are tested. For example, during the last $BTC rally to $60K-$80K, $ZEC pumped 250%, then news dropped, and it dumped 60% immediately. After that, it went sideways for over two months. That’s when your patience and belief are truly tested. (See Image 1) 4. Another example is the current hotshot, $NEAR. Starting August 17, $BTC began a pulse-like rally, and by September 15, $BTC had entered a consolidation phase after its pump. During that time, $NEAR was still performing pretty mediocre. I remember the $NEAR believers in the group were so shaken they were cursing $NEAR, saying it only pumped 60% and hadn’t even broken out of its range—it was worse than a dog. Back then, the market’s focus was on Robinhood and BSC. Then, one big green candle changed everyone’s faith. (See Image 2) So, what I want to say is: when playing with altcoins, don’t underestimate how brutal they can be, but also don’t overestimate your ability to hold your positions. Looking back, everyone seems like a genius because the moves have already played out. But the truth is, most of the time, we’re just in the thick of it.
