The Federal Reserve's reserves, really seem kinda unreliable... While reading a random book today, I found out that the Federal Reserve once lent 1/3 of its silver reserves to scientists to make coils for uranium enrichment. Curious how big those coils must have been to need so much silver. And they borrowed it for over 20 years, only returning it in 1970. Tsk tsk
