The past couple of days, these two secondary market performers have been doing pretty well btw: $QNT and $BTW. Here's what they have in common:
Currently, both have a market cap (mc) of around $3 billion.
btw $BTW: Outstanding issuance (oi) is $253 million, highly controlled, with 80% still not in circulation.
$QNT: Outstanding issuance (oi) is $152 million, almost fully circulated.
$QNT's track: Transitioning from 'blockchain cross-chain protocol' to 'programmable money infrastructure for banks/financial institutions.' On September 24, 2026, it secured The Clearing House (TCH)'s U.S. bank tokenized deposit project—definitely landed a big partnership.
$BTW's track: Bitcoin financial infrastructure + Stablecoin Yield + BTC Lending + Layer 1 (L1).
Current controversies surrounding $BTW might stem from:
1. Ponzi-like structure, highly controlled, with very low circulation. When tokens unlock, the market could face heavy selling pressure, risking a price crash.
2. Can the current narrative support a $10 billion market cap? Maybe try landing a big partnership?
3. Many are speculating how $BTW might end—what will the KOLs say?
$BTW could learn a few lessons from $QNT:
Narrative upgrade + landing a big partnership + healthy market corrections + ......
