According to The Defiant, Morpho's official X account recently posted and then deleted a post about the Curator business model. The post stated that most Curator operations cannot sustain themselves solely on Vault fees, with some revenue relying on off-chain revenue sharing, custom packaging, or protocol subsidies. It gave examples such as a retail integration subsidized by the protocol to achieve a 7% target yield, and another distribution arrangement allocating related revenue in an 80/15/5 split. Aave founder Stani Kulechov called the post 'extremely bearish' for MORPHO holders. Morpho CEO Paul Frambot later clarified that the content was automatically posted by a third-party AI marketing tool. The team has since deleted the post, revoked the tool's account access, and is investigating the cause. He did not confirm whether the specific data in the post was accurate.
