On Sept. 25, during the 81st UN General Assembly in New York, Iranian foreign minister Araghchi met Saudi foreign minister Faisal. Araghchi reported that Iran and Oman have reached a consensus on secure shipping routes through the Strait of Hormuz. The two exchanged views on bilateral relations and discussed joint efforts to deepen cooperation in areas of mutual concern.(金十)
